No one is going to profit by grabbing that pointy end of violent mind control and using it on themselves, but we can see people doing this every day, here on Hive in particular.

I was raised on a wilderness island, hunting and foraging for my dinner daily. I had to consider the means my forebears used to feed themselves for thousands of years. I had to think about their struggles to live, facing war, famine, and plague, and I had to realize they were victorious over every disaster they faced, whatever horrific conditions that overwhelmed them, and managed to create me to carry on their fight one more generation.
Nothing we face today is worse than anything our ancestors have survived. Turning to AI for advice is the easiest and best way to put evolution to work on making humanity stronger, if you're not smarter, stronger, and better than your ancestors. We are going to live through the threats we face today, and the weaklings, fools, and vermin we shed in the process are the worst threats to our survival - not the economic destruction, war, starvation, and plagues coming.
Lead, follow, or get out of the way, because we're coming through hell and high water.
