I have waited for events to catch up to my expectations to make this post. I did not want to speculate on how things would develop, but wanted to do what I will here: state what has actually occurred. From the title of this series of posts it can be seen that I did expect famine, and saw signs it was coming. Today my expectations are borne out by even the statements of the enemies of humanity causing the very catastrophes I write about.
Oh, how I wish I was wrong, instead!
I will not wax prosaic at length, but will leave a better man to confer that sad evidence he has carefully compiled. Christian, @iceagefarmer, although he has been overly censored here on Hive and no longer publishes to our blockchain, does still maintain his effort to enable us to survive and thrive despite the deprivations our enemies seek to afflict us with. I find his videos on Odysee, which depends on the LBRY blockchain to secure them through decentralization.

For folks insisting that Hive is uncensored and continuing to deny the commonly accepted definition of censorship, it is notable that years ago Christian did publish on Steem before Sun Yuchen and Ned conspired to utterly centralize power there, resulting in the Hive fork, but the typical mechanism of overwhelming flags drove him from our platform, and has left us to find his content elsewhere. This deprecation of forthright speech and continuing centralization of financial power remains ongoing on Hive today, as the usual suspects in Hivewatchers today prevent posts from various creators from being able to provide financial compensation for their work.
Unless Hivewatchers is convinced or compelled to end that program of censorship, Hive will ultimately suffer the fate of Steem and suffer centralization to irrelevance. The truth is that, like Twatter, Youtool, and Fakebook, posters of forthright opinions are demonetized here on Hive at the whim of whales instead of company management. I have run afoul of that vector of attack in the past, and only the fact that I do not use Hive tokens as money kept me on the platform. Today it is @logiczombie and @world-travel-pro in their sights. Tomorrow it could be anyone that threatens their hegemony or political leanings. Even you or me.
This is what to expect from all centralized and censorship friendly platforms, and only financial power is necessary to utterly destroy Hive. As we see the legacy financial system today destroying fiat by conjuring so much of it into existence that we are doomed to see Zimbabwe tier hyperinflation as a result, the centralization of financial power on Hive similarly will eventually destroy Hive's utility to free people fighting against oligarchs for their very lives.
Let's hope we can reverse course on Hive, the many extraordinary creators that have been deplatformed cajoled and convinced to return, and our token restored to the utility that makes it potentially more valuable than BTC, as much more as free speech is to propaganda.

Dear @valued-customer, I agree with you! Currently, the Chinese you love are at risk of a great famine. From time immemorial, the Chinese have reduced the population by starting wars whenever there is a famine. So, they are not fighting a war to win the US, but a war to reduce the population in order to escape the famine.
I think the Chinese you love will probably be The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
I am confident that people will prevail over psychopathic oligarchs in the ongoing contest for the power to govern the world, not least because we vastly outnumber our enemies, and when we realize we are fighting for our lives, and our beloved posterity after us, humanity will focus, even if only briefly, on themselves producing the goods and services that create the blessings of civilization. Psychopathic oligarchs first depend on armies of thugs to project force, and the thugs' families bear the same afflictions as the people being oppressed by the thugs, because they are part of the subjugated populations. Second, they also depend on the production of parasitized subjects, and reduce the productivity of their subjects by parasitizing them, producing no goods or services themselves.
Evil is it's own reward.
