The Troubles of Trading While Traveling

When I decided to start studying investing it felt like trading would be an ideal place to start to build more money for other investments.
Also, being a woman that loves to travel I could take it with me anywhere. It’s perfect for the digital nomad lifestyle. A laptop, Wi-Fi and my hands. I don’t even need my hands I can tell someone else what to trade as long as I have my mental capacities.

I have been trading particularly Forex almost daily since May with no issues because I have been in California until recently. Now that I am on the move again there has been several glitches with being able to trade on the go. I asked another trader friend of mine about trading from his beach house in San Felipe and its being sketchy.

With all our advanced technologies plus the ones we don’t know that exist yet there has to be a better way to have consistent Wi-Fi. (Of course the progress could be deliberately slow because of the monopolies ) I have seen a few articles over the year mentioning low orbiting satellites that will give the world better cheaper continuous Wi-Fi connection. Hopefully sooner than later for everyone. Though everyone does not work online as they travel decent Wi-Fi is still expected even if for just checking emails and social media sites. It’s in the air like electricity how hard can it be?
🤨

At Hotel Congreso in Mexico City, the bandwith was way too low there for me to consider trading there. Now that I am in Playa Del Carmen staying at an Airbnb, my first couple of days of Wi-Fi were great. Yesterday it was glitchy most of the day. I checked with the owner this morning and yes there are issues in the area and hopefully it will be up in the next couple of hours. Now I get to see Playa Del Carmen’s utility services providers in action! Will fill you in later with an update in my next post. Til then.. here is some Playa Del Carmen 💗
