Together with my mother, I prepared the dishes of sesame laddus, gajak, revdi etc. and offered the prasad to everyone, by offering puja to God. Then made khichdi. Then made curry with curd and curd. Made spicy mirchi with moong papad. Prepared a meal of two girls and fed khichdi to all these girls. Then bid them farewell.

After that we all ate together and ate khichdi. We all had a lot of fun with flying kites. Tomorrow will be very special and memorable day for all of us. Now I want to tell you all. That from 14 January is celebrated as Makar Sankranti. Why is it so special for all of us?

In Uttar Pradesh, it is mainly considered as the "festival of charity". The Magh Mela has been considered the most auspicious day for bathing. On this day, Ganga baths are offered to Mithran etc. to Brahmins. And it is also believed that Auspicious time begins as the Sun moves into Capricorn. Hence people fly kites to celebrate the beginning of auspiciousness. People of different castes celebrate Makar Sankranti in different ways in Makar Sankranti. Like _
