Would you rather live in a low income housing project or a nice privately owned home on a beautiful safe beach?
This is the difference between public and private. I would much rather drive my privately owned vehicle than to ride the city bus, public transportation. When people get rich they usually pull their kids out of public school and send them to private school. And when people get really rich, many of them even choose to fly private.
How does this relate to Bitcoin, Steem and other crypto? Well, crypto is like private money. Why is a housing project less attractive to live than a privately owned residence? The answer is because it is run by the government. The public bus system is run by the government. Public schools are run by the government. Yet the private options for all of these are far superior. The VA hospital 3 year waiting list cost thousands of veterans their lives.
Privately, we know that there will ever exist max 21 million Bitcoins. We do not know how many max US Dollars will ever exist. Their are no counterfeit Bitcoins. Millions of counterfeit Dollars exist. There will never exist a counterfeit bitcoin.
In the housing projects you can never own anything and there are many burdensome rules to live by. The same can be said with the dollar. To transact digitally dollar holders need banks, 3rd party non value-added friction and expense layers. Banks legally own the deposited funds and will, at the request of the government, deny you access to your funds. With Bitcoin and Crypto only you are in direct sole ownership and control of your money. And your money comes attached with the most advanced global transaction system ever devised.
I'm tired of living in the money ghetto. Look how many millionaires were created in this small money freedom experiment called Bitcoin. Look at how many new ideas came from the Bitcoin idea. We created a currency far superior to government money. Now we actually are experiencing currency competition with alt-coins, and there are some true values in the space. Finally we can free ourselves from this burdensome ghetto government money.
