yes, blokchain thinks of SBD as always beeing worth 1$ in that conversion.
The risky part about it is that the STEEM price at which the conversion is done is median price of STEEM during those 3.5 days. So, if over 3 days steem is trading high, then it suddenly drops, this conversion would lose you a lot of money because median is high while price is low.
