La Primavera ha traído un insecto que no había visto nunca en los quince años que llevo viviendo en mi casa.
Sus cuatro centímetros aproximadamente que tiene hacía que llamara más la atención.
Spring has brought an insect that I have never seen before in the fifteen years I have lived in my house.
Its four centimetres or so made it stand out even more.
Es un insecto volador con un abdomen alargado e inclinado de una manera exagerada. Tiene dos largas antenas y no le molestaba mi presencia.
It is a flying insect with an elongated and exaggeratedly slanted abdomen. It has two long antennae and was not bothered by my presence.
Estaba posado en el envés de una hoja de palma. He buscado información sobre este insecto pero no he encontrado nada.
It was perched on the underside of a palm leaf. I have searched for information about this insect but have found nothing.
Posiblemente sus víctimas sean larvas de otros insectos y no creo que sean un peligro para el ser humano.
Its victims are probably larvae of other insects and I don't think they are a danger to humans.
