A judge in Windsor Ontario has ruled that a person's vocal disbelief about COVID-19 is a factor in a child custody case!
According the CBC “Ontario Superior Court Justice George W. King denied a Windsor man interim custody of his kids because the man's fervent anti-masking beliefs means he wouldn't take appropriate actions to keep them safe from COVID-19.” In the US the CDC has announced that vaccinated people will no longer need to wear masks or social distance meanwhile in Canada the PM Justin Trudeau just declared March 11th to be a national day of observance for Canadians who died of Covid-19(84).

Like I said earlier to someone there's billions of people in the world and there are bound to be some who will taken advantage of any given situation. Like you are right now when you accuse people who own a store of being on a power trip. I don't agree with them taking anyone down to the floor in a tackle, that should have been left up to the cops but they did stand a chance of being shut down...probably after having survived a shut down at that...why should one person be able to wreck your livelihood. Now if you had said the judge was on a power drive I'd agree, what people do in their own homes should be up to them. So far it's been far and few articles where the police have even been willing to show up at someone's house and it's usually overseas someplace but here in the US people are still doing what they want or feel comfortable doing without interference in their private residence and outdoors. We had one judge here who tried his power trip on someone in regards to their kids and ultimately ended up recusing himself from the case. Today I read an article where a developer put in more studio apartments in his development "because of covid" he said people were looking to live alone....no it's a college town and it was just an excuse to grab more money for himself at 950 dollars for 350 sq feet a month, it was obvious as the picture attached to the article showed a young man with a backpack on his back. There were going to be two bedrooms included for 1100 a month but that took up more space...so you see he used the covid excuse to gain a better profit.
You guys also act like the flu isn't anything yet every single year schools get shut down over flu outbreaks. EVERY SINGLE YEAR. There's no parent in this world falling for "kids don't spread viruses". For god's sake they are kids, drippy nosed little buggers who wipe the snot off their faces using the back of their hands. Get real.
We know everyone is sick of covid, we know it's been used politically, that does not mean it's not real, that it's not a danger to many people and not just the elderly. Nobody cares no under thirty has died in your province and from your own words things can't be that bad when you admit yourself you can go shopping without a mask on. I can walk into half a dozen stores and the owners are not wearing mask....but that's their preference just like it's my preference to wear a mask....it's all a mixed bag. I think we are getting to a defining moment with all this, I don't think people will take much more, once school reopens next fall I think will be the telling point. Right now I think people should just opt to go along to get along until we all or the vast majority has reached a consequences of enough is enough.
