A New NFT Marketplace has been launched that intends to take on Opensea's domination of the NFT trading space - they are using some interesting tactics and are offering advanced features, plus an airdrop to all Opensea users who sign up and transact! Let's take a look at Infinity.

The range of NFT marketplaces is pretty much dominated by Opensea at the moment, which primarily involves trading of NFT art on the Ethereum blockchain. Infinity are dropping 10% of their governance tokens to Opensea users, to varying degrees depending on the size of the transactions that each user has been involved with on Opensea. This effectively means that if Infinity can provide the features that NFT collectors need, over and above what Opensea offers, then Infinity stands a chance of seriously competing.

The Infinity team say that existing Smart Contracts on Ethereum will automatically be supported on Infinity and their roadmap includes a full range of desirable NFT features, such as:

• Rarity tools.
• NFT Fractionalization.
• Creation of derivative NFTs.
• A new type of NFT with built-in utility: the programmable NFT. The first NFTs of this collection will be utilized for additional yield farming and liquidity mining of Infinity's $NFT token.
