Other Niche Communities Curation Report #885

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 885th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

I Ate More Than A Hundred Dollar Worth Of Italian Pasta, Was It Worth It?

Oftentimes, I want to spend some pennies to treat myself with fancy food in a fancy restaurant as a reward for my hard work. I can spend more on food than anything else. There are a plethora of restaurants here, Asian and Westerns, with cuisines that are worth spending money on. However, some aren't and disappointing. So trying new restaurants are like trial and error cases to know which one is worth visiting again, and which one should be crossed out from the list.

FIN DE SEMANA EN FAMILIA | UN TANTO DESCABELLADO [ESP - ENG] ✨🤪

That being said, I would like to tell you a little bit about my troubled weekend. It was full of good family moments, but at the same time it had some mishaps, among the stories is included the police, hahaha. Stay with me to find out how my family weekend was and all the anecdotes from it.

Construyendo el amor / Building love

Every day my relationship is getting stronger, although there are circumstances that make it wobble from one side to the other, but it's nothing to worry about, it's just that we receive different education and with it we form often opposite beliefs.

Fun Christmas bags.🤶

I like to have different types of bags at home, even though when shopping we always bring the bags where the products are not delivered, it is also good to have small and medium sized paper bags. In my house we often make empanadas, and to give them as gifts we use this type of bags. They are also very useful if we want to make a small gift or just keep something. So I thought of making these bags more fun, taking advantage of the approaching Christmas.

My Back to Sushi Experience |EN/ES|

It's been 84 years... I mean, it's been a couple years since I tasted sushi. I missed it so much, and I didn't know how much until I had a sweet raw piece of salmon and tuna inside my mouth almost melting while feeling the pleasure of sea food like this again. The pandemic and quaranties kept me from eating outside most of the time. THis is the third year, we are all vaccinated, and I want to go out again and enjoy places, AND food. So, a coleague of mine proposed a birthday lunch and I said yes. This is my going back to sushi experience.

NAAFI - Get your British food here

Hi hi.. Thank you for reading this post. It's a Tuesday.. We are in the second week of November and in a couple of weeks time, we are heading into 2023. Time flies. Today, I am going to introduce you to one of my favourite British stores here in Brunei. This is where everything here is British and imported directly from the UK. This place is located near the British army camp here in Brunei. The army gets a special price. For non army personnel, the price is an add of another 20% . But some of the imported stuff are still cheaper than the ones in Malaysia.

Let's make Ulundu Wade more delicious to eat for breakfast or evening snack.

How are you, Wishing everyone a good afternoon my dear friends. So today I brought a different recipe to show you the art that I love. Most of the time I think this is best for breakfast and evening snack. So that is 'Ulundu Wade'. Uludu wade is usually made from undu flour. But undu flour is not always available, or undu flour is a bit more expensive. This is why I thought to make Uludu wada from wheat flour which can be found more. So, let's see how to make it.

Music, Culture and Football: The Inexorable Bond That's Always Present at Every World Cup [ENG/ESP]

Some people are not really fully aware of the extent to which music can have an impact on people's lives. There is a certain mysticism in the way our brains interpret stimuli coming from the environment. Homo sapiens have always been able to relate the ability to compose sounds, with a certain harmonic sense, to pleasure and joy, and this is something we still maintain from 200,000 years ago until right now, as I write these lines. Now, they may be confused, as long as they do not find the connection between the origin of humanity and a sporting competition that is not even 100 years old. But you might be a lot more surprised than you ever imagined...

Claire's Crazy Cakes, Bakes and Kitchen Hacks: Chapter 17 - One Pan Easy Roast Drunk Bacon Chicken

What is the yearning of a modern parent? A quick and easy delicious supper? Some great wine at the end of a very long week? Fewer dishes and more children that listen? Am I writing a wish list for Christmas? No, Not quite, but I am preparing for it anyway!

I have figured out, thanks to Jamie Oliver and Ina Paarman, but mostly thanks to my mom and some of my own ingenuity, the perfect, easy, fall-off-the-bone Roast chicken recipe. The trick is, to feed it bacon and get it drunk!
