The lake is located in the province of Trento, the largest among those within the provincial borders.

As you can see from the satellite image is much larger than Lake Levico, in fact here you can practice water sports including water skiing.

Il lago si trova nella provincia di Trento, il maggiore tra quelli entro i confini provinciali.

Come si può vedere dall'immagine satellitare è molto più grande del Lago di Levico infatti qui si possono praticare sport nautici tra i quali lo sci nautico.

The visual impact just arrived was pleasant with a very wide panorama and the slopes of the mountains that meet at the center of the shots that I propose below.

L'impatto visivo appena arrivati è stato gradevole con un panorama molto vasto e le pendenze delle montagne che si incontrano al centro degli scatti che vi propongo di seguito.

We were alone and approached to look at the water up close, it looked very clean and indeed it is!
In 2014, Lake Caldonazzo obtained the prestigious international Blue Flag recognition of the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education), thanks to the clear waters, the beach and the eco-sustainable tourism-environmental management policies.

Eravamo da soli e ci siamo avvicinati per guardare l'acqua da vicino, sembrava pulitissima e infatti lo è!
Nell'anno 2014 il Lago di Caldonazzo ha ottenuto il prestigioso riconoscimento internazionale Bandiera Blu della FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education), grazie alle limpide acque, alla spiaggia e alle politiche di gestione turistico-ambientali ecosostenibili.

As a testament to the healthiness of the environment, a very nice duck came up to me and followed me on almost the entire photographic walk! :D

The surrounding mountains are not very high and their shape gently accompanies the horizontality of the lake.

Meanwhile, a nice dog plays in the water...the last autumn days with an acceptable temperature before the impending winter.

On the side of the lake I visited there are two wooden piers.

I managed to photograph a man in a good position while he was walking one.

I like to photograph human figures in my landscape shots because they give the idea of ​​the size of the environment...

Nel lato del lago che ho visitato ci sono due pontili di legno.

Sono riuscito a fotografare in un'ottima posizione un uomo mentre ne percorreva uno.

Mi piace fotografare figure umane nei miei scatti di paesaggio perchè danno l'idea delle dimensioni dell'ambiente...

In questo scatto ho volutamente fatto una post produzione più spinta, era una mia curiosità personale sull' effetto finale che avrebbe raggiunto la foto...

It was getting late, but a small path through the bushes made me curious, so I decided to walk it before returning to the car...

There was a small hidden bridge and from there I was able to catch a different glimpse with pleasant reflections...

Si stava facendo tardi, però un piccolo sentiero tra dei cespugli mi incuriosiva, così ho deciso di percorrerlo prima di tornare alla macchina...

C'era un piccolo ponte nascosto e da lì sono riuscito a cogliere uno scorcio differente con dei piacevoli riflessi...

Still on the bridge, behind me was another surprise.
The water channel was a natural mirror. The sky, the suns, the mountains were reflected in a fantastic way, think that I didn't take the picture without using the polarizing filter!

The only negative aspect is the main road on the left, but it was there, I couldn't do anything about it ... I had no plants that could hide it!

Sempre sul ponte, alle mie spalle c'era un'altra sorpresa.
Il canale d'acqua era uno specchio naturale. Il cielo, le nuovole, le montagne si riflettevano in maniera fantastica, pensate che non la foto l'ho scattata senza l'uso del filtro polarizzatore!

L'unico aspetto negativo è la strada principale a sinistra, ma era lì, non potevo farci nulla...Non avevo piante che potessero nasconderla!

My visit to Lake Caldonazzo ends here, I would like to visit it in the summer when the tourist season is at its peak to compare the photos with those I have proposed today.
