This is a writing entry for the contest of my friend @galenkp. I had a blast writing this. I am still laughing🤣🤣🤣

Disclaimer: this is fiction. I am still single and I did not fly in a balloon. Yet😂

This week-end starts with me waking up very early in the morning, 6 a.m. Looks like this is going to be just as usual. But I see my phone beeping with light. There is a text message. From the guy
Every girl has a guy from whom she wants to see a surprise message.

I take my phone while I have a giggly smile and raise my eyebrows. I wonder what could he possibly be texting me so early in the morning.

Hello dear. I know we've been seeing each other for some time and it has been going more than fine. I hope you woke up today early as usual, I made plans knowing you are a creature of habit. Pack your things and at 9 a.m. I will be coming for you. Take your ID. Mwah😘

Oooooo I am soooo jumping. Just like a rabbit on crack I start to look for my ID, but there is no point, I already know where it is, but I can't contain myself. This is so exciting because I loove surprises😍 This is surely a trip, I wonder whereeee..... Uuuuuu I can't wait. Fast fast I must take a shower and put my sexy swag on. This is gonna be soo amazing.

Beeep beeep. 9.a.m.

Honey, I parked right in front, you can come out, we have to go

Hoppity hop I jump with the speed of a gazelle and here he is... Oh my this guy is so pretty. And he brought me flowers.... Ahh I am such a sucker for flowers and he knows it. Mwah mwah mwahhhh I squeeze his cheeks like he is the sweetest squeeshie in the entire world and get myself in the car.

Where, where do we go? I know you are taking me somewhere. That is why you said to take my ID. Come on sayy it, sayy it. I know you can't keep a secret. Come on say it! Say it! I AM YOUR GIRLFRIEND.(Darth Vader voice and attitude). SAY IT!!!

He starts laughing and gives me a kiss, knowing that this is the only thing which will make me shut up😂😂So... Ok... there was more than a kiss, maybe 2 or 3. Or many more. I talk a lot when I'm nervous. Gibberish blabber. Articulate... But blabber. You get the point.

I see that we are getting pretty close to... the airport?!!! Whattt?

I believe I can flyyy.... I believe I can touch the sky..... Oh you're bullshitting me right? I know you are scared as fuck of flying, no way you brought me here to fly somewhere. What are you really up to?

He smiled. He is so calm that it makes me nervous. Because I am the calm one in this. I am the zen master of my fate. I am Buddha reincarnated. I am a fountain of peace and serenity. I am.....

Say it!!! Aaaa.... Where where? You know that I will find out because if we are going to fly it will be written on the tickets where... You know that right? (acting like a smart ass)

He smiles.. Again.. Gives me a kiss. And tells me patience little one

Arghhhhh he is enjoying seeing me squirm and act like I am about to faint. He passes me the ticket and we prepare to fly. I can't believe he is flying with me for this because I know he is terrified. Oh I like him even more now, even if I want to grab his cheeks and crush them like he has been a bad naughty peach for torturing me with his all mighty calmness.

Cappadocia. No freakin' way. Now I know for sure..... I AM GOING TO FLY IN A BALLOON? Aaaaaaaaaa🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈

No way... No freaking way.... You did this for me? You remembered that I had this on my bucket list? You're ready to shit your pants flying on a plane just to do this together with me.... Awwwwww peach...... ❤️❤️

I sat the whole flight looking at him the way you see those anime female characters with white sparkles in their eyes. Sprinkles, stars, wheat flower, dust, nebulae, white noise. Whatever that stuff is. I had that in my eyes. I held his hand tight knowing he is scared to fly. My guy is so brave... Gosh... I really like this one... I felt so embarassed acting like a Darth Vader brat, but now... I am so melted away...

My dimples started to hurt because I smiled the entire time. He grabbed me by the cheeks and kissed me

Stop smiling Mary, your dimples are going to reach to the core of the Earth if you don't stop..... I love you Mary Dimples.....I really do

We came off the plane and had the luck of having amazing weather. A car waited for us. My smart boyfriend rented one. I knew he is going to take me to fly in a balloon. Gosh I was so excited. Who would have though I would be here now, instead of cooking pasta back home because it is lunch time and I am a hungry beast. I wouldn't care if I would not eat the entire day as long as he is with me.

It is magical. The moment of lift off was..... Ah... And the angels are singing..... Me and peach on top of the world

Do you like it honey? he asks me

I love it. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world than here with you

He wrapped his hands around me and kept me in a comfy love coccoon. I feel his embrace and it's so nice. I tell to myself this is the guy, it feels so safe to be around him and I can be myself and he still likes me... Ah... I am such a hopeless romantic

I can feel him taking my hands and opening them. I feel a funny thing in my palm. He is trying to put something in my hands... Wwhat... the.... fuck.....

Mary Dimples. I fell in love with you from the first moment I saw you. I will keep it short because I know your attention span in emotional moments stops around here... Will you marry me?

Jesus holy moly guacamole. I start to laugh. I can't stop. I start to laugh that birds flying in the Cappadocian sky must think I came loose from the mental asylum. I laugh like crazy if I am super nervous and I can't stop. My dimples hurt, my face is as red as a red baboons' bottom. I grab myself of my belly and try to stop

For the love of God stop Mary. This awesome guy is proposing you in a dream location and you can't stop laughing. He will think you crazy... You cockooo.... You loooney tooneey funky gone... Stop it woman. I'll slap you if you don't stop. For the love of God you've been laughing for a full 10 minutes. This guy will either throw you from the balloon or spare himself of the misery and jump alone, leaving you laughing like a crazy old lady

I finally stop laughing and try to get myself together.

Peach... I am so nervous. You know I am scared of marriage as crazy... But I am so sure it is worth taking a leap of faith with you. You like my crazy side, my looney side, my creativity, my emotions, my tantrums... Peach... I would be indeed crazy not to say... Yes

We both had tears in our eyes. Me from laughing like a woodpecker on crack.. And him... From watching me😂 We kissed and it was just magic. I felt it was up to be like this, written in the skies

We wrote our lovestory up in a balloon and the clouds were our parchment paper. I never though in my wildest dreams I will find him or that he will find me... And somehow... I am flying in this balloon with the love of my life in a week-end which started with a beep beep.... Mary Dimples..... You're one lucky adorable weirdo
