Hello everyone!

This is a compilation post that will serve as a summary and status of the onboarding program. For those who are late to the party, OCD's onboarding program aims to bring more users to Hive and retain those users through the curation of posts submitted by the onboarders.

Anyone who's active in Hive is invited to apply as an OCD onboarder. Please see the details of the application process at the end of this post.

Hello, Hivers! I am Ms. Dehai, 42 years old. I’ve been working as a teacher for 20 years. Dedicated, hard-working, and determined person. I have three lovely daughters who were my inspiration in life, aside from my very supportive husband. What I am having right now is the reward for all my hard work and sacrifices. I came from a family with insufficient income to cover basic living expenses and even finance my education. I worked hard and helped my parents to have an income.

Hello Hive! I am Danica, 29, a public high school teacher in one of the highest-performing integrated schools in Northern Cebu, Philippines. I started my introduction with a quote about real courage because it took me some time to put myself together and save a lot of courage to try this new opportunity I am absolutely a certified newbie – being a blogger. I love writing, yes, but never in my limitless imagination that a new door of opportunity will be opened for me and bring me to the wonderful world of blogging.

Hearing about Hive gives me butterflies in my stomach; much more writing an intro for it! How sick is that! Huh? I don't know what to expect but one thing is for sure, I know that this will turn out to be one of the most extraordinary experiences in my life. To start, I am Fatima, a 33-year-old woman who juggles various roles every single day. I am a mother, a wife, and a secondary public school teacher.

I am Mommy Jane, 37 years old from one of the mountainous towns of the Province of Cebu, Philippines. I am a mother of two pretty little girls, Jewel and Janneah. My mother was a fish vendor and my father was a retired school utility worker(janitor). I am a Junior High School teacher. I was teaching for 2 years in Cawayan, Masbate where I need to ride six-hour travel by Roro Ship from our place. I was transferred to Tabogon, Cebu 8 years ago so all in all I am now ten years and counting in teaching by God’s grace.

My name is Thiago Okazuka, I’m a surfer and surf photographer over 15 years 🤟 I started my photography job because my love of surf, I started surf in Japan from 16 years old and from 17 years old I already started travel to Indonesia every year and for make my surf trips come true I had to work hard in Japan for make money and travel until I have no money and back to Japan, work, make money and go travel again hehe! So I think how I can have this lifestyle forever without be a pro surf 🤔unfortunately I don’t have this talent haha even I’m not a really good surfer but I enjoy a lot inside water! I study photography a few months and bough a water housing and started my life as a photographer.

Please take note that the stats do not reflect the current state of each onboarders as of this time because we are still catching up with this compilation post. The stats will be updated in each compilation post until it becomes up to date with the onboarding initiative.

OCD's onboarding program is conceptualized to be a powerful mechanism in attracting and retaining new content creators. Since incentives are given to active onboarders, it could be a nice income generation for those who wanted to focus more in inviting new users to Hive. If you want to be an onboarder, join us in OCD's Discord Server and write your application in #onboarder-application channel. Your application must contain the following:

Once you've applied, there will be a vetting process. We will check your on-chain activity to make sure that you can be trusted. Once you're in, you have the capacity to make an invite link using OCD's account creation token, invite anyone you think is a good addition to Hive with a quick and no SMS required account creation, nominate the posts of your invites through a special channel for curation, and get beneficiary rewards both from the users you've invited, posts like these and more benefits in the future!

Be warned that you are responsible for your invites. Meaning, their activity reflects on how you mentor them. Any suspicious activity of your invite can be a ground for your expulsion in the program. Make sure that before they start posting in Hive, you already oriented them on the activities to avoid such as plagiarism.
