After trying out many dance styles over the years, swing dance is still my favourite. A lot of people asked me why I started swing dancing. When I was at uni I tried many activities offered by UQSport, including Aikido, fencing, ballroom, tango and swing dancing. During my first class I thought wow I can't believe I'm listening to this ancient music that even my mum thought was old. But I grew to love the music and now I have travelled to many different states / countries to dance swing.
This is a social dance with my friend Luda from Ukraine who I met through swing dancing many years ago. As you can imagine she has been through a lot recently due to the war. I'm very glad to still be able to dance with her. I made a quick video to share with you some of our dancing. Hope you enjoy it.

Good to know that you are a swing dancer. Yes, the music jazz and social parts are quite nice to enjoy which i cant do in normal life :)
