Simple fix: Xbox Series X turning itself off while playing Cold War Call of Duty

Since telling one of my great friends that I had the Xbox series X, he got me started playing cold war with him. After paying $50 for the game (it was on sale, usually it's like $100), I was playing very happily with him and then suddenly my screen went black. I was like.. WTH! And checked my Xbox. It didn't even have the power light on! What happened? It went out so suddenly as well, I didn't even say good bye to my friend as we were in the middle of a battle. I rang him on the phone and I was like, hey man, I'm not sure what happened but my Xbox turned itself off. He probably didn't believe me and thought I got tired of playing with him.

So I started googling "Cold War xbox series X crash" and wow, hundreds of people have had the same experience. I quickly emailed a link to the conversation threads to my friend and he believed me but at the same time couldn't believe how this problem could occur to so many people. There were like 5 or 6 different ways people claimed to have fixed the problem. Some of them said they turned off ray tracing. Some of them turned off 120Hz. Some of them just avoided playing Zombies. Some of them said they accidentally installed the wrong version of the game (i.e. installing the Xbox one version on the Xbox series X). Some even said that you had to play it on an external hard drive.

I was this close to installing the Xbox one version on an external hard drive just to see if it would still crash. Luckily I tried another method first (which I did not find in this conversation thread) and it hasn't crashed since!! Watch the video for my fix! (It is so simple it will surprise you).
