Pennsif's Sustainability Curation Digest for MSP - week ending 24 January 2021

in #palnet3 years ago

We cleared the fallen tree from last weekend - now we have another 10 tons of firewood!

I had hoped some of the timber could be put to better use, perhaps for furniture. But it had some rot and wasn't straight enough to sell.

Big wood in difficult places is tricky to find a good home for.

With the other trees that came down we now have at least a 10 year supply of wood for heating our whole house.

Before I go out to chop some more logs here are five more great sustainability related posts to read on Hive...

The Minnow Support Project has multiple curators that pick five posts from under-valued minnows each week to highlight through MSP3k. This way MSP and PAL can promote new writers and content creators on Hive, and in effect reward them for doing a superior job.

Thank you so much sr. We appreciate a Lot this.

Good to hear you are sorted for wood for a while. We had an apple tree taken down, but got nowhere to burn it for heating.

Keep up the good work.
