Take off and Landing are the 2 best experiences of an Air travel for me and that is why I always make it a point to book a window seat. No matter how many times I travel but each time the views fascinate me. These photographs I had taken a few days back when I travelled from India to Oman. At the take off I did not get very good clicks but at the landing I did manage to click a few pictures. Closer to the landing Oman gives some beautiful views of varied landscapes, the Sea and the Mountains, If it's a clear day then you get a feast for the eyes, else the fog takes away the fun.
This time it was not foggy but not very clear also, though it was good enough to get a glimpse of the aerial view if the city.
That's the view of the Muscat City, the beauty of this place is, if you see all the houses are in white. These are some basic rules of this Country, that all the buildings here should have a light color paint shade. The another thing is that we do not have any high rise buildings, the maximum that is permissible here is a 9 storey building. Hence there is a uniformity in the size of the building and the whole of the city almost looks same like a white blanket.
This is one of the most famous Mosque and a must visit place if you travel here. The Grand Mosque, it's grandeur and beauty will leave one speechless, it is one of the most famous tourist attraction in the city.

And as I said the Sea and the Mountains here goes hand in hand
One can get a glimpse of how well planned the roads are of this city
The Golf Course view at the landing is also a pretty one. We do not have many golf courses here, but the ones that are there are really well maintained.
