📷 Masherbrum

in #photography4 years ago

While I'm processing photos from last year's trip to Pakistan, the second in my life, and preparing full photo-travel posts (be careful, there will be many of them! :)), I cannot deny myself the pleasure of sharing photos of some places. Some mountains, to be more precise :)

Recently I showed a photo of Gasherbrum IV, and today I am happy to post a few photos of Masherbrum, one of its neighbors in the Karakorum mountain system.

Masherbrum or K1 is the highest peak of the Masherbrum ridge, its height is 7821 m. It is the 22nd highest peak in the world and the 9th highest in Pakistan.

This view you can see from Camp Goro II. These are the tents of our neighbors in the camp, at the same time there were at least two expeditions except ours. It's quite long way and a bit difficult to get here, but of course it's not nearly as difficult as climbing one of these peaks :)

I didn't have such a goal, I choose trekking for myself, so I just admired the panorama of the majestic mountains around me with great pleasure almost every day.

It's better to watch the photos in high resolution.

Thank you very much!

Surreal... especially the shot with the tents (second last) 😮👍

Yes, these bright tents look a little strange here, among the snow-capped peaks and glaciers.

Stunning :O

Oh yeah! Being among the really high mountains is an unforgettable experience!
Thank you for the tip :)
