21st February the language martyrs day of Bangladesh
On this day in 1952 many bangalees were killed in a genocide while protesting for bangla language as their state language we bangalees are the only nation who martyred for their language after indepence from Pakistan the Bangladesh government listed 21st February as mother language day and sooner UNESCO listed it as international mother language day and from then in many places of Bangladesh people mourn and make monuments which is called Shaheed (martyrs) Minar (monument) and give flowers on them.
