"This is a limitation to the Hive Blockchain! Probably it cuts of the ability to view comments after 2,000 comments!"

No, it is not. To be sure, I checked with one of the devs/witnesses, and they confirm there is no such limit on the blockchain. So, the problem lies either with your computer ~or~ the interface you're using.

How much RAM do you have in your computer? If you don't have much RAM, then that might be the problem, as the machine can't handle all the caching activity required to scroll through so many messages in short order. I have 16 GB of RAM and was able to scroll through hundreds of comments on this post with PEAKD — in fact, they kept coming as long as I kept scrolling, in an endless stream.

If you have lots of RAM in your computer to handle the swaps to cache easily, and still feel there is a problem, I'd pick one interface (such as Ecency or PeakD) and reach out to that team, specifically. If you can share some of your notifications with them and indicate that they are not showing your browser, they might be able to look into the issue further. But, rest assured, the problem is not with a limitation within the blockchain, itself!
