I think this paper was pointed out to me from @lukestokes more than a year ago.
It is about reputation in crypto, that in theory can prevent sybil attacks etc.
The paper itself is quite complex, and I haven't really dig deep into it, just scrolling through. Maybe we can use some part of it. Giving real value to reputation in anon systems can be really dangerous, as they can be corrupt, sold etc. That's why for now, stake is the king.
But we can always try to make it better. Timelocks for certain decisions on chain seems the next step that is without the risk of corruption.
