for this weeks #rockclassics started by @uwelang I will do a combination with #metalweekend by @detlev, as this week one of the greatest rock voices is celebrating 40 years since the first concert with his legendary band. He debuted in Namur, Belgium on June 29.
Let's celebrate Brian Johnson for his anniversary. For me AC/DC is Brian Johnson and Brian Johnson is AC/DC. Yes, he is not original singer that started the band, not even the second, as Bon Scott was the second, but who cares? His voice fits to this #Rock legend.
We can say that Bon Scott introduced Brian Johnson to the band, as he was speaking a lot about him before he passed away.
The first album in the new formula was Back in black which is the most successful album from a rock band.
It contains my favorite song from them, You Shook Me All Night Long. This song was not even played on his first concert, but I like, so I mention it.
He had so many emotions that he sung the same lyrics for two different songs. I imagine the crowd must have been confused.
The song was Bad Boy Boogie
Sadly, he can't sing in concerts any more due to a problem with his ears. I was lucky to see them live long time ago and I hope that Brian will be able to perform live again, at least that my son can see him on stage also.
