I'm sitting here thinking about what we can do about this abuse. I'm not in favor of letting anyone downvote me just because they feel like it, even if they have the "right" to do so. I liken it to a dog pissing and/or shitting on my floor. Yes, the dog has a right to shit and piss. That is its right. However, this does NOT mean that dog can shit and piss wherever the fuck it feels like, except in extreme circumstances like it is sick, or dying, or bleeding out on the floor and can't help itself, or I've locked it in a tiny room for days on end because I'm sick in the head, or etc. No, sir, the dog has to learn where it is proper to piss and shit and where it is not proper to piss and shit.
Now, here is the thinking that we know about your types. They talk. They think we, the little people at the bottom who suffer under the weight of their foot, the little people at the bottom who do most of the hard labor, the little people at the bottom who are considered worthless to them because we're not at the top of the food chain, don't know what they're up to.

You see, @mmmmkkkk311, us little people down here at the bottom usually are more generous with what we have. Maybe that is because we understand what it is like to struggle day in and day out while you guys there at the top live your extravagant lives and punish and blame us for not being afforded the privileges you were born into.
So, what I did was, and this is from a homeless person, bought 200 people @sbi shares, names found below. If only 5% of them join me on this mission and then the 5% of those 5% join us on this mission and then those 5% get another 5% to join us on this mission, then your mindless, inconsiderate, aggressive, absolutely rediculous downvotes will almost mean absolutely freaking nothing.

It's funny what sort of things have been coming to mind while going on this crazy adventure. The overwhelming responses to my post, the many responses by the community in other areas in support of SBI, the things that have come forth about @josephsavage, the blatant attacks without any evidence to back up claims made - these are the things that make me want to take a stand. I'm willing to see this to the end so I committed myself further.
I've never been very good at staying down when being stepped on.
I'm here to support another 200 hundred of you. So, according to this post, I'll be DVed well over 100%. I'm wondering if you guys will join me because what I find extremely funny is imagining him going through 200 people who support sbi and DVing us. However, if one does the math, he can't hit us all if we all do at least 20 sbi (which is equal to a couple of dollars at the time of writing this) or more and the time and energy it takes to do that makes it all the more funny to me. What about you? - Maybe send one sbi to each person you send it to so he has to count! This is so very funny to me.
Maybe you can't do that. My best guess is you're already doing the best that you can with what you are working with. Maybe you can help in other ways. For example, could some of you counter the dv he gives me and others? I'm not asking for anything more than what he is taking away. That would be awesome. Perhaps a delegation? Whatever you think of and do is fine with me.

I happened to be wandering around on Steem this evening and saw where you had sent me some SBI. And then I saw why. I am one of the little fish that has amazing original content (my own opinion of course) and is excited when I can get a post to have more than just a few dollars worth of upvotes on it. I have been gifted sbi in multiple contests and through community support in communities that support me because my content is original. I have sponsored my teenage homeschool children with sbi because i support them using this platform to create substantive original content instead of flaky shallow social media crap. Now one of the communities I am in is being attacked for using sbi by the mmmmk dude, but hes clearly just being a jerk to use his downvoting power to pick on groups like ours that are using sbi to reward original content and to help each other out. I mean, if he was only downvoting sbi being used as support for crap content, I could understand, but that's not the case. So,I was inspired by your post here and your actions. I did not send you any sbi @tristancarax because you have plenty, and I am such a small fish I could only spend 6 steem on sbi shares today. What I did instead was send 6 steem total to sponsor three steem users. Original content is of course a non-negotiable critera here, so it's not really how I decided who I could help. The first person I sponsored was @reinaldoverdu because I saw his comment on here and I know damn good and well anyone in Venezuela deserves as much help as the rest of the world can give them to survive the current state of affairs. I looked at his feed and I feel good about supporting him, paying it forward to him! I also sponsored @josevas217 because I like what he's doing. @toukirahmed was my third person to sponsor this evening. This user I have recently discovered and really love the photography. Bangladesh is a long way from me, but if a small act of kindness on the internet can bring a smile to someone across the planet, then I am in. I'm hoping people support others and not just me, as that would not gather the masses needed to overcome this minor annoyance. So, thank you for supporting others. They most likely deserve it.
I know for me that when I started getting an sbi vote, no matter has small it was, that made me happy that I was getting some support from somewhere. This place can seem pretty empty at first. After time, people are willing to give for someone else's work. Most of us don't make what we are worth, but the little amount that we do get may make our day and help us continue to improve day by day.
I'm through with talking directly with mmkk for the moment. He has shown his true colors and people like this need to crawl back under the rock the came from. They are a drain to everyone around them.

I might write lot of things but I want to say that we are way bigger than this Steemit, we are humans with projects and passion and flesh and blood and what we have here is just a tool to express ourselves, not more not less. Let's not let a simple medium to take our humanity, our true selves, away for the sake of another shitty hierarchic and pyramidal order. We have enough of them in real life. What did @josephsavage create? A way to express solidarity and a hope of growth even for those that don't own to a golden whale's circlejerk. The Bananafish used and uses the @steembasicincome for a little of self-funding. So far, during all the account's existence, we just distributed upvotes and rewards between writers, thanks to our many contests. We created loads of good content with our fiction stories and poetry. Are we abusing of the platform? I don't think so. Yet, there's this self proclaimed hero that believes we need a flag. Go on, we don't give a shit because you know what? A story, a poetry, any expression of art and humanity lives beyond your little thinking and also beyond this simple box called Steemit. Bravo, Tristan. Everyone joining and hosting a contest, owning or giving SBI or up voting in a circle is hunted for. CCC (@team-ccc) is a very small community investing in newbies. Each contest is hosted by a little fish and the prizes are paid by them too and they all are victim now.
This guy has over 10 accounts and tickets for 2000+ more accounts and is pissed he can no longer use his bid not. Revenge on the little fish is a fast and easy way to reduce the group of active members (and fill the steemit pool).

I can just add that we don't vote in a circle. We upvote the artistic production of everyone participating in our initiatives and also we selfvote because of funding reasons. This community account gives 100% for the members of our open community. We have been helped by witnesses because we create real content and not shitposts, but at the moment the money to run it come exclusively from @f3nix (because I enjoy) + there are the delegations of our core members (because they enjoy too). Everyone else get free steem and upvotes.
@bananafish I believe you but if it comes to it I I it et in a circle if my circle is a common tag like #freewrite #cc #ccc #appics, etc. If it comes to the downvoter he will make more rules to downvote because he can. Haha! I'm definitely on the shit list @josephsavage. He hit me at %100 dv this time, which I suppose is going to be the new normal for a while. However, with the support this community has shown toward @sbi, you, and, recently, me, I believe I'm get through it.
Is there a list of active members? I'm not done with purchasing @sbi, I just had to take a break from all of the copy and pasting.
Easiest way to put a list of active members together would be check a few days of vote history. If you wanted to focus more on active members that get votes less frequently because their subscription level is still low, I could put something together if you message me on Discord.

Let's go on, our way of using Steemit has always been based on the content and creativity of the human mind: fiction, poetry, music ... the economic side is secondary and functional to the continuation of this cultural activity. Whoever makes money the main question will be defeated despite the downvotes and the weight they can put on it.

@tristancarax, Sometimes True Expression becomes must because we are surrounded with lot of Pre-Judgements. People are looking for Decentralised Structure when they act Centralised ways.
I don't Judge anybody but in my opinion for some Downvoting is a game but for me it's not because i am coming from the place of all kind of struggles. I am full time Steemian and this journey awakened me because on this space i got to know about my passion and that helping me to move forward in both Bear and Bull Market conditions.
Here we are seeing change and that change is, connecting with people and with their stories on Emotional levels and collectively becoming small helping hand if fellow human being is in the tough phase,that's the meaning of Community.
I don't know how many hold the same perspective, but at the end of the day we are living a Illusionary life and by that i mean we think that we are Owners but it's never a reality because we are just a visitors on this planet and we have a choice to spread goodness or mess. When it's a choice then let's walk on the path of goodness, let's understand people, let's learn to see people beyond any numbers.
We will see both goodness and negativity but at the end of the day we have a choice to spread a kind action which can literally fill life of people with happiness or one negative action which keep people into depressing phase. And Human Beings so sensitive beings and sometimes people never understand that one negative word or action can sabotage the happiness of fellow being.

A pyramid scheme makes money by taking finances from the bottom and putting them into the pockets above them. It doesn't generate revenue on its own. This is why they inevitably collapse.
steembasic income rewards STEEM through upvoting. STEEM that is given out is immediately given back, in portions, over time. I think the number is 6 months that you break even, assuming you continue to post on the STEEM blockchain.
The point is, that SBI guarantees revenue to those who 'invested'. The creation of more STEEM through upvoting content is a form of revenue generation ('mining' the STEEM blockchain). For this reason it can't be called a pyramid scheme IMO.
The creator could of course power down and run off with the STEEM, and then people lose their guaranteed SBI, and assuming that everyone did not get 100% of the STEEM they invested back, then it could be called scammy. But they haven't done then, and me personally I've made all the STEEM I put in, and then some.

Realizing I should have talked to this part separately. Joseph Savage is on my driver's license. The largest SBI member is @contestkings. @dkid14 is one of their partners, and lives only two hours from me.

Spot on, @dirge. The @steembasicincome program has been (volunterily?) misunderstood by this troll and his friends. People make an investment through it and expects a ROI. I've always heard that whales can do what they believe is good for defending their investment, being the main stakeholders and backbone of steem, including selfvoting and circlejerking. We are stakeholders in the steembasicincome program and we just defend our initial allocation of resources. Then there's the other face of the medal which is that of solidarity and basic income vision. I believe that Steem is pure turbo-capitalism and, hence, the unavoidable inequality. @steembasicincome is a legitimate correction where the many join together.
Thanks for the support! We balance the SP backing each unit with a sustainability metric to keep reward levels as high as sustainability allows.
That does mean thst full earn back of subscription costs takes longer than six months (more like a couple of years), but it prevents the implied leverage of using lease delegations from accidentally toppling us into Ponzi territory.
@josephsavage, @dirge, If this, then one can't really say that we are purchasing upvotes because it is an investment into one upvote that gets better as one invests more into it. Would agree or disagree or other?
It isn't the same as a bid-bot which promised many upvotes, most of which were little to no value and, I think, most lost money on that.

Actually we don't guarantee revenue, we only guarantee upvotes. Whether those convert into revenue at payout is beyond our control. We have always resisted making promises of actual returns, and when estimates have been given, they are always given as depending on STEEM price and reward pool behavior.
In fact, the earliest criticisms raised by whales were because we did not guarantee any level of returns.
SBI is more like earmarking SP for dedicated support of accounts you choose. We can't guarantee that the support has any value, any more than you can guarantee that an upvote on this comment will have any value after it gets countered by mmkk. In most cases the support will have value, of course.

He believes that our use of the reward pool takes value away from his use of the reward pool, and does not consider the impact his Dv might have on overall Steem ecosystem.
If lots of people quit because of his DV, he wins but Steem loses. If lots of people double down and power up to support each other and SBI against him, he loses but Steem wins.

Yup. I think almost everyone owns SBI. He seems to be going after all he can. I was quite shocked that his SP increased so much.

Contest runners are all getting these big downvotes now. He's also got some kind of an "in" with steemcleaners and is voting for comments on the burn posts. He will not get anymore author rewards, but he comment rewards are still 30+ sp a day.
This is interesting to keep in mind. Someone needs to go after his comments feed then.
