I think it's a pity to not share what the eyes of my guests see and what a sweet day it was yesterday to show people around. The picture of this bay at Sounio speaks for itself:
At least as long as you can ignore this gross rusted pipe.
Every time I visit the cape of Sounio with its emblematic Temple of Poseidon I wish I had more than just one pair of eyes like we all do:
The picture with the flag above gives you an idea about how windy it can be up there. The picture below shows yours truly confirming that:
FYI, I'm mirroring myself on the toilet's door 🙂
Sounio's National Park comes next with its lovely (though extremely flammable) pine trees:
In the heart of this forest is this 60X120m crator in the ground, once a cave now aptly named chaos:
Only a few km away lies the oldest theater on the globe and so nicely located:
A walk around the local marina close to sunset offered us the following images:
Pity to see the last train that made it there in such poor condition, poor used as euphemism:
This is the best bar in town by far:
With some of the best food in town as well. Here's our - too delicious to last long - dessert:
The extra cute kittens of the neighborhood were the icing on the cake of a great night:
I hope your September treats you at least as good 🙂
Great pictures!
I always loved my visits to Greece. Such beautiful waters, landscape. and wonderfully friendly people, at least to me they were. The food was amazing as well, especially if you got away from the tourist trap locations. The majority of my pictures from the Mediterranean are in Greece. Maybe one day I will break all those photos out and share them.
Thanks @harlowjourney for reblogging this.
I'm really glad you liked them 🙂
Breathtaking scenery, fascinating history, delicious food, and cute kitties... what more could anyone want?
Exactly 🙂
Beautiful shots 🥺
This was worth sharing for my pair of eyes to feed upon
Thanks for sharing 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! You're welcome.
