This week is Favorite Shadows. Do you have a shadow photo that you particularly like that hasn't fit into one of the weekly themes yet? This is the place for it! Or go out hunting for Shadows this week and post your favorite one. Anything goes!
Remember to keep the main focus of your picture on the shadow! After all, this is a shadow contest
Here Are The Rules For The Contest.
The Prize will be at least 5 Steem, divided between no more, and possibly less than 10 winners, who will be chosen by me, or a judge selected by me.
One submission per person
Any upvotes and resteems are appreciated!
You can create a post using the tag shadowphoto but the photo or link MUST be posted in the comments here as well.
Feel free to use editing and effects to create a special look if you want. Phone photos are great!
The photo must be your original work. NEVER use photos that you find on the internet!
Submissions will no longer be accepted after the post has payed out in 7 days.

As i kid i use to try to out run my shadow but it always ended up just the two of us...lol :)
Hahaha! I have vague memories of doing that too, and trying to jump on my shadow before it could move!

Thanks... glad you like them. Indeed shadows and reflections are sometimes difficult to separate... But the big bridge had its shadow also included in the refelections... LOl!

Very cool shadow photo, I shall call it "Man In Fedora Ascending". I really must start looking for shadows, this is such a cool project. Now I just have to wait for the sun to return one of these days. Though a rain shadow might work too ( :

That's exactly what I should have named it to avoid the confusion! I'd love to see shadow photos from you! But alas, sun is essential.... Or a good flashlight. Maybe Subaru headlights are a good light source.....
I shall do as Chief Dan George used to say, "Endeavor to Perservere" in the shadow taking of things. We DO get some sun, just have to look about a bit more when I'm out biking. I seem to have my head down looking for shoes and such, so need to 'refocus' to shadows. Though the Subaru is a great idea. Hmmm..."What IS that man doing out there in the dark, Daddy"? (A man yelled at me for taking pictures of a Christmas tree in his garbage can one night. "Are you taking photos of my house through the windows?" "No sir, just your garbage can". He didn't have much of a sense of humor. So I rode away.
Hahaha! A suspicious old curmudgeon who probably lacks any imagination. Did you get a good photos, anyway? We were traveling down south, I think in Kentucky and came across an old fallen down barn that was surrounded by multiple rusty old vehicles and Jim couldn't resist. I was content staying at the edge of the road taking pictures but he went trudging off into all the debris. An old guy appeared and ordered him off the property. It didn't take long and they were best of friends talking about old cars and trucks, but only after Jim convinced him that I wasn't taking photos for some government agency that was going to fine him for having trash on this property.
I love this round. Favourite shadows can be so diverse.

This is what I had been waiting for!
I had originally had a concept of displaying my shadow along side normal every day things we do. Then, speak briefly about how these tasks have become more "challenging" now that I have Multiple Sclerosis.
I had the concept Shadow Series in mind, but never continued the idea.
Please accept this as my submission for the Round 65 #ShadowContest
That would be a great concept for a series of posts! I'm glad you could use that photo for the contest! Steps are a major challenge for me.

And yes; stairs are a challenge. You can't see my cane... I'm holding it against my leg. I had a few other similar photos... but I'll save them, and perhaps make a series... thank you for your comment and upvote!!
I can't remember the last time I attempted steps! My scooter and I do much better on ramps! 😃 Even the 4inch lip on my shower is challenging some mornings! Putting in a zero threshold shower will be my first expenditure when the price of Steem goes up!

Well, this gives us a lot of scope doesn't it @melinda010100? Surely I can find a shadow for this contest. Will resteem to remind to to be on the look out for shadows.....suitable for the 'Anything Goes' category. Hopefully I shall return with an entry soon. 😄
