Try Lolli? I Finally Did, and It's Amazing!

Before you get all excited from my good review, you should know that Lolli is currently United States only.

Like anyone in the crypto space for more than the last few weeks, I have seen Lolli around and heard of them. They have solid marketing, an enticing product, and promises of earning Bitcoin with all your purchases. What's not to like?

I didn't finally take the leap to give it a try until yesterday, when I made a purchase from Purple.com. If you're not familiar with Purple, they are supposed to be the absolute best in pillows and cushions. I'll let you know more on that next at some point in the next couple weeks when my cushions arrive.

Here's How it Works

Signing up for an account with Lolli is far easier than any exchange, even though you will be essentially holding BTC there in a wallet. You can even earn BTC before verifying your email account.

Through Lolli's front page you can view all the merchants, either as one giant list or using some handy filtering options. There are around 750 merchants who offer BTC rewards for making purchases through Lolli with widely varying percentages.

Basically, you choose a vendor from the list and enter their secure site through Lolli's extension. Then you simply shop as normal and complete your purchase. Once the vendor sends the purchase information to Lolli, the BTC is awarded to your account immediately.

Locking Period

Your BTC funds in Lolli are not confirmed for several weeks. So don't expect to withdraw immediately. Here is the wording from Lolli:

"Rewards become available after they have been confirmed. Reward confirmation occurs once the partner's reward locking period has passed. This is typically 30-90 days, the return period, after your initial purchase or completed stay."

Massive List of Merchants

Advertising has changed drastically through the years, but in many crucial ways it is still the same. Retailers and brands must continually do just a little extra to get people to spend a little more on their higher quality products and services. In recent years this has most often taken the form of reward programs.

As you look at the Lolli list, or as you simply browse these few screenshots, pay attention to the way different merchants offer different percentages of rewards. If you always remember to use Lolli when making purchases from certain types of retailers, you will start to seriously stack BTC.

Office Supplies

Even at Staples, OfficeMax and Office Depot, which are considered "Big Box" stores, you can earn 5% BTC with your purchases. With more specialty retailers like Calendars.com (great for XMas gifts), they are willing to offer you greater rewards, because your business means that much to them. Isn't it nice to know that you're valuable?

Food and Groceries

Apparently to most of the merchants on Lolli, "food, beverage and grocery" means booze. Anyway, there are some pretty sweet deals on food and drink through the mail, and with all the pandemic noise, isn't that the way? I also like that you can earn BTC for Groupon, which already saves you a bunch of money no matter what you bought.

Sporting Goods

Computers and Electronics

The above are only a small sampling from the complete list of merchants on Lolli.com. If you live in the United States (or your VPN says you do), you can sign up for Lolli and start earning Bitcoin for making retail purchases.

My Royal Purple cushions will be even more comfortable knowing that I earn nearly $12 in Bitcoin from purchasing them.
