It doesn't matter how old you are, do yourself a favor and go see slayer live. I've gone to many heavy metal shows, seen almost every major metal band and tons of bands hardly anyone has ever heard about. Slayer by far puts on the most intense, powerful show. Saw them two years ago and they haven't slowed down one bit.

I'm starting to get old for a metal fan too. Just stay in the back and out of the pits and you'll be fine.
