Splinterlands Card Giveaway

Each week I host a giveaway for one of the original Reward Edition Splinterlands cards. Most of these cards have been out-of-print for almost two years, so new players can only get them in the market, and that can be pretty expensive. These giveaways are a way to help players build their deck for free.

This Week's Giveaway

This week I'm taking the Blast part of Blast From The Past literally! Because, for this week's Blast From The Past Giveaway, I'm giving away this Level 1 Exploding Dwarf card.

From the first moment I first laid eyes on the Exploding Dwarf all those long, long years ago, I have been a devoted fan of this card. When he was first introduced, there were not a lot of rule sets that would allow you to really use him a lot. But still, he was fun to play! And if you got lucky, he could even do a little damage to your opponent's team.

I must not be the only fan of this Boomer, because over the years, there have been numerous rulesets added that really let the Exploding Dwarf shine. Rule sets like Equalizer that turns the Exploding Dwarf into a very lethal tank and Super Sneak that gives you the option to hide him safely in middle of your team while he decimates the rear of your enemy's team.

Surprisingly, the Exploding Dwarf is still remarkably affordable for a card that packs so much destructive power. Currently, you can buy a level 1 Exploding Dwarf on the Splinterlands Marketplace for only $0.34 each.
