I had my doubts about the ranked rewards update.
Now that we're a few days into it, I find that I've been putting a little more time into the game. Between 2 silver accounts under the old system I would average nearly 80 chests per season when adding the daily quests to the end of season rewards. It looks like I'm on track to get more chests in the new system, not drastically more but enough that it feels like a step in the right direction.
I think the new system has also improved gameplay. I find that it's been very rewarding to focus on renting cards for strategic advantage and not for power. Some of the cards that I've rented have been "ghost cards" that I use frequently to boost my RP and some are just cards that I don't have and I hope to win more games with.
