Splinter Stats Season 40 Report Card

season40.jpg

This is the first time that I am using the new Report Card from @kiokizz, that does an automated analysis of the Splinterlands games done in the past season. By all means, I am not a very active player and only occasionally play my second deck, while my main deck is delegated to @monster-grinder and played by the brilliant @dejan.vucovic. My second deck is build with summoners and monsters for the Gold League (although still manages to enter Diamond and even Champions League). Also, I let my daughter play with my cards occasionally, who cannot even read yet and just clicks the cards she likes in a total random order. Hence, it is not a very coordinated gaming and this analysis is totally for the lolz of it.

Since I played even less than the seasons before, I barely was able to enter Diamond I. Tournaments were ignored entirely by myself, which is a bad choice given the huge amount off prize money available there. But it also takes a lot of time and I am glad if I even get to do my daily quests.

I am surprised to see Chanseus on the top of the list. He is great but I actually don't like the Life splinter very much. However, there are plenty of rulesets that just ask for the white team to be played. The Llama and Mylor are both really fun summoners but will likely drop out of my list entirely, as I am about to max them and delegate to @monster-grinder, as I do with all my maxed cards. I will surely miss them but they are too expensive to get a second version for my own second deck - at least for now.

Close Range on the top makes sense. I have a couple of good strategies for that. Healed Out on second? Yikes, I hate that ruleset but apparently I still manage to play it fairly well. And Keep Your Distance with ZERO wins? LOL, I should do something about that. Any advise, @jacekw?

My rewards sucked, totally no surprise here. No legendary, just two epics and only one gold foil? At least that one was rare (yay). Sigh, where are the good 'ol times, when we got plenty of cards per season? Damn you bot players, this is why cannot have nice things.

What a great tool @kiokizz! This was fun to look at and cool to write about. I should really play more tournaments (just one would already be more, lol). And I should play more Fire and learn some strategies from the better players. I still love this game, despite all my recent upsets with the land expansion sale, the not-related and yet still related Farmfarmer game disaster, the growing play-to-win factor and the massive Collection power requirements for tournaments (which hits @monster-grinder hard). I am also still waiting to design my Boss Monster after over two years. At least that feature is now on the road map with TBA - LOLZ.

yep hehe i got better rewards then you :)

I should really play more tournaments

tournaments are cool - until you enter too many then it becomes too much like work. I find i then get lazy when picking teams.
Lots of tourneys = lots of losses for me :)
A few = more wins , more fun
