This is my first entry into the SPUD contest. I was planning on powering up today anyway. Then I came across @streetstyle post Less Than 24 Hours Before SPUD8 Makes Its 48 Hour Trek Around the World and thought "hmm, wonder if I qualify?"
Well I do right now but this Power UP puts me at 8247 steem power! Pleasantly over the 7501 steem power limit for this contest so I guess it's good and bad.
Right now I'm waiting for the last half of my trade to be filled for 1553 steem. Yes I'm buying NEW steem just for SPUD8. Earlier today I withdrew 1244 from the exchange to power up, before I saw this contest. I will combine those two and power up 2500 steem. Gotta leave some for spending.
I don't have any pictures of SPUDS so I'll add this one of a male honeybee. He looks kinda supd like.
My order was filled. I bought 1553 steem at 0.0000161 BTC ea. for a total of 0.0250033 BTC, or $181.70 USD.
Transferd and POWERED UP! Bang!
I've invested a bunch of my time in steem and I think investing a little bit of my money in steem is a no brainier.
I believe in steem and I think the future is bright for this technology and steem is well placed to take advantage of it.
I think with all this censorship and de-platforming crap going on, it will PUSH people to steem.
This photo has nothing to do with spuds except maybe it's color. But it is a Beekeepers dream.
Steem is like our generations Cave Paintings. We can publish information to it that will always be available as long as the steem block-chain is around.
However unlike the cave paintings this information cannot be modified, destroyed or painted over.
As long as this block-chain is around so will this post.
