Now that the wallet has been split from the blog, it's (relatively) safe to install greasemonkey scripts that fiddle with steemit.com. That's what this does. I originally posted Steem Together two months ago:

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a link next to the author's name? This link takes you right to steem-together with the author name and your name already filled in.
How to install
First, get the Tampermonkey Chrome Extension:

I got tampermonkey installed though I could not figure out how to install your script.. So I created a new one using the dashboard and copied and pasted it in. Seems to be working for Steemit.com under the feed and comments section, thats sweet I can see the interaction with users. I can just hover over the comments and see what it says inside using your app.
I tried on Steempeak and seems its not supported, it would be great for it to work in that app if its not too much trouble. Or maybe I need to tweak a setting in the script on my side?

The process you described is pretty much how you install it these days. Recently chrome security changed and Tampermonkey hasn't updated yet, I guess.
Yeah, support for other front ends would be cool.
@inertia Yeah browsers seem to mess with apps for scripts and macros alot, I used to have a macro extention but every update would break it and then eventually they had to change the features of the extention just to stay in their stores. I guess they can be used to run bots or people might run some malicous code and blame it on the browser.
