You should get some liver of sulphur and soak one in that for 30 seconds or less.

Backyard Bullion has a good video showing how that works out. You can stop the process at any stage when you see an appealing tone.

Of course you know, what ever you do I always want in. I love this idea and can't wait to see what they end up looking like. Looking forward to see how they tone over time. If they turn out looking great, I'd rather the toned ones if they are on offer. I don't think I've ever seen a toned set of QB. Cheers buddy

I want in, i enjoy a good toning experiment. I fried an egg on top of my Rwanda nautical ounce and that gave instant toning! the underside which was in hot oil was unaffected but the sunny side up got full on colouration. What i am planning on is putting it in my exhaust pipe for a few months to see what comes of it. But yea cool experiment.

I am very interested to see how they turn out. There have been many pieces I have seen after toning that might even look better than the original. You may be on to a new thing @britcoin.

I want in can't wait to see how they tone. Love those Queens beasts.

This should be a fun experiment. It will be interesting to see what color they turn without any intentional influence on them (chemicals and such). Great idea!

I want in! Interested to see how the toning turns out on these beasts!

These are the coins I was looking at getting but they are a little out of my price range (by a little I mean a lot). I want in.

Can't believe you're going to do this, won't it make them be worthless? I always thought that you must not touch or handle the coins if you want to sell them?

@britcoin I want in please!
I am super excited to see how these beauties turn out and how the toning shows off the details within the coins!! Appreciate you doing this little fun and as always my friend upvoted and resteemed!! Thanks again!

I want in! Rainbow toning is beautiful!

There are several ways to tone a coin artificially, but I think you want a natural toning. If you simply let them in a box, opened, it may take years to tone. Don't forget to put them upside down after a time.
