Hey everyone! I remember a lot of you used to browse through the previous subreddit and help out with answers newcomers used to have so this post is to bring some attention to our new subreddit r/hivenetwork
Please be aware that this is not for post promotion and such post will be removed. It's about general discussions about Hive, it's front-ends and dapps and can be used as a gateway to our blockchain. We noticed recently that the social page of Hive on coinmarketcap was linking to a different subreddit but @justine is already helping us in getting that corrected which we appreciate.
This is what the subreddit looks like right now, it's kind of dead but that's normal considering reddit is so similar to Hive and once you have an account on Hive you'd prefer to much rather spend your time on the chain! ;)
We'll be adding more links to popular front-ends and dapps in the sidebar over time. This can be a nice place to link newcomers from Reddit to as reddit allows easy subreddit linking in comments if there are relevant discussions happening elsewhere. Once there they can easily find more info about it, where to go to generate an account, etc.
We have some more plans that will involve Reddit and will hopefully be able to share the news with you soon!

This is great. I love the useful links at the right side also. I wonder if there's a way my HIVE getting started video tutorial lessons could be linked there. I understand it's all going to posts right now, but perhaps the videos could be embedded on a FAQ page that is linked there? Thoughts? I think that the point when someone is learning why they should be on HIVE it's the ideal time to also tell them how they can function on HIVE with the least frustration.
Feel free to post it there and I'll sticky it to the top so it can be visible for a longer time!

Reddit has the options in the settings to make it so other Reddit users cannot search their username. You can get around this by adding their name to the URL instead.
