Swaps - New Frontend & Features & Progress Report

Hey everyone!

It hasn't been long since I announced the existence of @swaps -- A new service to ensure you are able to easily convert your HIVE to SWAP.HIVE and vice versa for as cheap as possible while being as efficient as possible at the same time.

In summary though, @swaps only has one purpose, you send it SWAP.HIVE or HIVE and you get the opposite of whatever you sent.

New Frontend

For easy access to some data like liquidity and overall not bothering with manually entering data into Hive Keychain, PeakD, Hive.blog, Ecency or whatever frontend/app you use for your wallet transactions, I prepared a frontend. Basically, you can go to the frontend, enter your username and the amount of SWAP.HIVE or HIVE you'd like to convert and submit. It will generate a transaction for you where all you need to do is confirm.

If you don't like websites or confirming stuff with Keychain, you can always send a regular transfer to @swaps in HIVE or SWAP.HIVE without bothering with frontend.

The website will also display, when you enter your username, your current HIVE and SWAP.HIVE balance as well as the available liquidity in @swaps so you can always know how much you need to send (and how much it is able to handle) so you don't have to deal with checking your balance :)

Features

Internal Swap

As mentioned in the previous introduction post, the new internal swap system is now ready. This means that if @swaps has enough balance in SWAP.HIVE or HIVE, will do the conversion itself.

Investment for Passive Income (Being a LP/Liquidity Provider)

In the future, I am planning to add an "investment" system to @swaps as well. Where users, who would like a "cut" of the fee that @swaps has can invest and become Liquidity Providers for the service. This means, you will be able to (if you invest) receive passive income on a regular basis thanks to your investment. A win-win situation for both the users, meaning larger liquidity and the investors, where they are able to earn passive income depending on @swaps conversion fees and volume.

An exciting new feature...

There is one more feature that is coming as well, however, I believe it's too early to announce it... stay tuned :)

Progress Report

Huge thanks to @johnhtims for his excellent help in testing and debugging @swaps since the announcement. I was able to find and fix quite a few bugs thanks to him. Hopefully, @swaps is more stable than ever at the moment. However, please do note that since it is still early that there might be a few bugs or very rare edge cases causing issues with auto-refunding (when an issue occurs) and some other problems that can be solved with time.
