When manga teaches life lessons

in #teammalaysia4 years ago

When it comes to reading manga, I normally am picky. It depends on how the storyline and the characters can really bring the manga alive and that is where I will stick to that manga.

However, today was quite different. I found a manga that is somehow deferred from the other I usually read.

It was a home-grown manga. In fact, it is a manga that is related to the reality in life particularly in Malaysia. As Malaysian reading this manga, I found it to be 100% related. It is fun to read with mix of real life facts.

I have been following this manga for quite sometime now ever since the start of the movement control order. Until today, this manga never failed to amused me.

With the passing of movement control order coming towards more than 2 months, the manga is somehow reaching its climax.

I was quite moved in this particular episode because it emphasized on how Malaysian was able to fight the battle against COVID-19 because of the frontliners battling the front lines. We are still here because of them.

This again reflected towards yesterday's new cases report where significant decrease of cases which was reported shine light at the end of the tunnel.

The manga really thought us how people sacrifing their lives towards well-being of others. Never give up in the fight and the spirit of togetherness will bring us closer to winning the battle. From medical officers to police officers, armies to delivery guy, all are responsible.

Really deep meaning and I am thankful the manga highlighted the positive values which we can learn especially during this hard time.
