The long awaited travel is finally happening for me today from Mumbai back home to Muscat. Well both these places are home for me, but it's been a long break away from work around 7 months, so I look forward to going back. I have a lot of mix feelings, I am going to miss Mumbai a lot. Right now it's monsoon out here and it is the best time for me to be here as I enjoy rains. And Muscat will be scorching hot with almost 45 degrees temperature, so a big contrast. Nevertheless, work also holds importance.

I am not sure how covid travelling is gonna be like. This time I have too much of luggage also, so hope that all gets going smoothly.

Back here in my city I am going to miss my evening walks, my reading time as once back there with work I may not be able to dedicate that much time as I do here, the rains, my friends and family, as such there are many friends there also.
I hope I can travel back to India again soon, if not very soon at least in the next 4 to 5 months from now and by that time all the covid chaos is over.

Will miss to see this gorgeous Sunset by the Sea every evening

And my friends who everyday come to visit me, I am going to miss them the most.

And the rainy days

On reaching there we need to go through a 14 day home quarantine. Initially there was a lot of confusion over the quarantine as the airline statements kept changing, they announced it would be a institutional quarantine and then back and forth it kept changing between home and institution quarantine. I had decided that if it is a institution quarantine, I am not going back, I can't imagine myself locked up in one hotel room for 14 days, so much of a mental torture it would be. I would go a healthy me and probably after 14 days would come out a sick me, so that was one thing I was very sure, no matter even if I had to wait for how many ever more months. But thankfully it is a home one so I am pretty relaxed.

From last evening it has been raining heavily and some parts of the city have also been flooded, so I am just wishing now that we can make smooth travels to Airport also. Anyways I got to get going with my last minute packing and I see you all tomorrow with more updates from my actual travel as to how did it go from other part of the world.
