🥇 Travelogue S45- Jaisalmer - The Golden Fort by @sajannair

The first halt in our venture was the famous Sonar Kella or the Golden Fort, the only fort in the country made of yellow sandstone. The name Sonar Kella earned its title from a very popular Bengali film by the same name made by Oscar winning director Satyajit Ray. The fort even now houses a special spot inside the fort called Mukul’s House where Ray shot parts of his film. The film acquired such a cult following, that about 50% of the tourists who visit hail from Bengal (A province in India). Another interesting fact about the fort is that it is one of the few living forts in the country. With more than 5000 people staying inside the fort even to this day.

🥈 Spring climb to Syurenata, Uzbekistan by @damm-steemit

Apparently not everyone in the group also missed the mountains like me. Therefore, at first I ran forward and then I had to wait for the rest. For the third or fourth time, I was tired from new stop and I warned the guide that I was waiting for everyone at the top and stomped forward. And I went rather briskly and climbed to the top of the Syurenata for almost an entire hour, sat there alone and waiting for the others. But no one got into the frame and did not interfere with taking photos. At the top was an amazing silence and calm. It felt like I was alone in the whole world - a breeze was blowing, and eagles soared above my head and no one else. Amazing feeling!

🥉 Ciudad Bolívar - Venezuela, history and beauty next to the imposing Orinoco river by @sofathana

It was hot, after eating an ice cream or two on the Orinoco Promenade, we walked up the street to see the historic center of Ciudad Bolívar, which is one of the largest and best preserved in Venezuela, in addition to having the particularity of having been built on rocks of the Imataca Complex, one of the oldest and most stable geological formations on the planet, over 3 billion years old. "There are no earthquakes here" said my uncle amusingly.
