"After lunch we decide that it is absolutely necessary to visit the main attraction of the city - "Chkalov's ladder". I must admit the place is really beautiful. I saw many stairs, in Kerch, Rome, Paris and other beautiful places. But this staircase in an ordinary Russian city in the middle lane is really good."

"When it was finished it gave a great impression of being there and also doubled as a great backdrop to the other sculptures carved in front of it. From a distance the perspective worked really well and made the piece look much bigger than it was, and it was big."

"This shot of the beach was taken by me again while flying in yohann's gyro. This I would put right up there in my list of things to do while visiting the area. It is a exhilarating experience that can't be matched and gives you a birds eye view of the local area. As you can see it's truly beautiful from that perspective."
