Part II

We spent all day in Alberobello. It was nice to walk along the narrow streets among the white houses - trulli. In addition to the beauty and unusualness of the buildings themselves, it was nice to look at the decorations of the houses. To these decors, I include both flowers and vines that entwine around the house. In addition, small souvenir shops are replete with various kinds of trifles, which tourists are happy to buy.

There is truth and very expensive handmade items. A lot of textiles and ceramics. Of particular interest are things made by local craftsmen, but such a minority.

A large amount of all products made in China and very similar to those sold in other cities of Italy and around the world, only with a different inscription.

In addition to houses and decorations, it was nice not to watch people. There were different characters. For example, a couple of waiters who went to the rocks of their cafe to relax. They looked at a group of street musicians from Spain who played their tunes. Or an administrator in a cafe. He talked loudly, gestured and looked like a ship captain. It was interesting to watch how he manages a team of waiters and still manages to communicate with people on the street and sellers in nearby stores.

All these observations of the waiters and sellers I did while sitting in a street cafe and enjoyed eating delicious Italian pasta. Long live Italian cuisine forever and ever!

Speaking of sellers. They are friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, English is not very good at speaking. Honestly, I myself hardly speak English, so we were pleased to communicate in a mixture of all languages and gestures.

After strolling through the neighborhoods of trulli, we headed back to the car. This part of the walk also brought us interesting views. For example - the basilica of Cosmas and Demian. The 18th-century neoclassical building is the main temple of Alberobello.
The main city temple of Alberobello is dedicated to the holy disinterested - the twin brothers Cosma and Damian, who treated people for free. Now the relics of the brothers are an important shrine of the temple and the goal of the pilgrimage of Catholics and Orthodox.
Beautifully the construction is a cherry on the cake of our visit to the capital of the trulli in southern Italy.
