BELLY IS CALLED ÁFỌ́ IN IGBO LANGUAGE.


Belly ; venter; stomach; paunch: the area of the body of a vertebrate between the thorax and the pelvis

Belly [n.]: That piece of the human body which stretches out descending from the bosom to the thighs, and contains the entrails, or digestive organs; the guts.

Belly [n.]: The piece of anything which looks like the human gut in projection or in depression; the deepest part; as, the midsection of a carafe, muscle, cruise, send.

Welcome to our Igbo language training, today we have the translation of English word ‘belly’ to Igbo language, note that the vowel sound of the word is high high (HH). There are some other Igbo words that are called afọ but in any case, they do not share the same vowel sound.
