Yesterday a rocket hit Poland. (picture above)
It was a Russian rocket design.
If it had been Russia shooting a rocket at Poland, then that would cause the whole NATO to be in war with Russia, by default. Which would probably be World War 3.
An hour ago all media started suggesting that this rocket was in fact an ANTI AIRCRAFT missile shot by the Ukranians, which missed its target and fell into Poland by accident.
Problem with that is that the crater in the picture above is HUGE.
That looks like 100kg or much more in TNT equivalent.
AA missiles do not carry such a huge payload as it would totally defeat their purpose. They are designed to accelerate as quickly as possible, turn swiftly and hit a fast moving object.
The size of the above crater (if caused by a missile) would be by a CRUISE missile, which is something very much different than an anti-aircraft missile.

I mean: When they reported it was a Russian design they must have known what type of rocket it was.
Either the media (and I mean all major agencies) have deliberately lied when they first reported on this incident, or they are lying today.
Logically, only one of the storylines can be true, but both stories also have holes in them.
The level misinformation around this whole conflict is insane.
So I decided to meme it.
Over here also, that's how we get misinformed almost on daily basis. Each time, the media dishes out two conflicting information about a particular subject and we hardly know the one to believe in.
Such a crazy world we are now.
The misinformation and the disguised (and the obvious) propaganda are a part of the psychological warfare from both countries (from Ukraine and from Russia too). I also heard from multiple people that this whole confluct/war is started by the USA, and that the conflict/war is in the economic interest of the USA, but maybe this is also a misinformation. Nowadays sometimes it is indeed very hard to know what is true and what is false.
How do you know that exact hole was this crater? How can you trust any media?

As a saving grace: If it was the s300, my estimation of 100kg+ TNT eq was spot on though.
That has to be about the most obsolete AA rocket system in use.
Stinger has been around since the 80s and carries 1kg payload. Not 100kg. The whole system including launchpad and all weighs 15kg.
