Birra Tirana is a European Pale Lager style beer brewed by Birra **Tirana** in Kombinati Ushqimor, Albania. It is the largest beer producer and the largest selling beer in the country.[1] It is also exported and sold in Kosovo and the United States.
The beer is a crisp easy-drinking lager, the Birra Tirrana shows a hoppy-bitterness, with a softly carbonated and smooth mouthfeel. Medium in body and malty; but well proportioned, with a characteristic hop bitterness that supports its fine structure. Over recent year, the brewery has doubled its sales and spent over 10 million Euro modernizing and expanding its plant in Tirana.
Birra Tirana is named after the capital of Albania (Tirana), where the beers are brewed. Tirana Beer is a premium beer and without a doubt is the leader of the Albanian market.
