Hive Philippines Travel and Nature Photography #274 - by Allmonitors

#274 - A beautiful day my dear Hiveans. The market overall sentiment seems to be bearish because of the what they call death cross and so as the shutdown of miners in China which also affect the price of our Hive. But hopefully all will bounce back once again, there is no way but up right?😁

So let me share some photos taken when we were in Batad and particularly our visit on the remote village's waterfalls called Tappiya falls.

To get there, it took us a long hike after seeing the viewpoint that offered the best spot to see the whole amphitheater like rice terraces. After that is when we started our hike along the greeneries and rice fields recently harvested.

When we arrived, there are already a number of other tourists who were ahead of us and are already in the water plunging. The water is cold and it immediately cools our feet. We were here around two in the afternoon and the sun is not able to penetrate because the area is covered by tall mountains.

In the photo, the area seems small and the waterfalls seems also not big enough. But when you are on the ground and witnesses this first hand, you will be amazed by the falls enormous size. The water is deep where the falls is and no tourists even dared to swim over there. Most are in the shallow area only dipping their tired bodies to cool off and relax. There were stones put together on top of each other as well.

A closer shot of the falls while some tourists go there near the water and take a dip just on the shallow part of the falls.

A group of tourists mostly women are getting ready for a swim in the cold water.

Here are some of the guides talking while they wait for their tourists to finish. There are huge boulders of rocks here as well which is used as a place to put the garments and belongings of tourists while they are in the water.
