Stefan and I were waiting for some white tailed eagles on one of the spots where we see them often flying when suddenly a deer crossed the river in front of us and fled to the Czech Republic. It was only a very short appearance and I was lucky to get some pictures at all. I was looking at the sky and was prepared to take some pictures of birds of prey like the white tailed eagle and the red and black kite when suddenly I heard something in the water. When I pointed my camera in the direction the deer already left the water and was just about to dissapear in the high grass on the Czech side of the River.
I was a bit disappointed that it was only visible for a few seconds and I could only take these pictures that are not really the greatest ones.

Deer jumped out of the river and dissapeared in the high grass on the other side. Picture: Florian Glechner.
