I Gloriously Completed Today's Dialysis Session Thanks Be To God

Today my blood pressure held without plummeting once again. I think I know now what is the best in order for me to successfully finish my treatment without compromising both the completion, how I feel while being dialyzed, and the issue of my blood pressure.

The way I would eat and the amount and type of what I eat also is a factor there because I had done what I did from my last sessions which is to eat first a light meal with a couple of eggs and some bread with coffee included, taking a bath, and then prior to heading off to my dialysis I would take two capsules of my Caffeine and right after getting hooked-up I would take the third Caffeine capsule.

I also had requested my nurses to take-off about 300 mL more fluids compared to the last time and the resulting dry weight made my blood pressure at the 100/80 upon return of my blood and a few minutes later it was back up to 120/90.

So my current dry weight today is what I would target next time again God-willing while keeping in mind what I had done prior for my treatment session, the timing of my eating, the amount of it which I know now that you really do not have to eat much prior. Then how much fluids that has to be removed, and of course the timing of my Caffeine pills intake.

Proper Timing And Computations Would Result The Good Outcoome Of My Dialysis

I just have to be consistent and detailed about what I do regarding my dialysis sessions because I only can go twice a week and I just needed to complete each and every treatment so that I could feel much better in-between dialysis days.

If only I could go more frequently then I will not care about these seemingly simple things that my nurses should be able to figure-out for themselves already for me. But I just have to intervene because my well-being is on the line and I did had suffered a lot in letting them do all the judgement and it just resulted in a lot of hardships.

The most important thing for me now is that I can tell them how much fluids that they can take from my body and now I am more satisfied with my dialysis sessions more than ever.

The funny thing is that they are allowing other patients to do that as well because I think that they had figured-out that the patient knows better on how much fluids in particular to be removed rather than them basing all from the charts. It should not be the case because all factors must be considered so that the patient can receive the best care possible based on my own experience as a long time dialysis patient.
