My Dialysis Routine And My Pet Peeve About My Father

My routine is before my dialysis session is that I will just eat lightly, it is because of the accumulated fluids and toxins in my body that makes my appetite go to the crapper so I will just force myself to eat. Then I will go and get my bath done maybe use the toilet before I clean myself and brushing my teeth at the same time while seated on my bath chair. Then I will get wheelchaired to my room again and get dressed while laying down on my bed then I will and take my Caffeine pills just before we head on to my dialysis center.

The bad thing about my routine is having to ride with our car which actually has no faulty suspension but my father just fiddled with it a few years ago which is why every small bumps on the road I can feel with my spine. It is a bad ride which is why I will never go for a long trip using that car lest I will injure myself.

The seat also was modified by my father and it had gotten hard because it was stuffed with rags. Now I am like riding a box cart but maybe even a box cart has a good seat and a working suspension system. So it is really uncomfortable and I am now on all fours when riding that vehicle of ours.

That is why maybe even though I could afford to buy a better vehicle I am afraid that my father would make it ugly and worse modify it just like he did for our car considering that he is a mechanic.

I guess maybe if I had the money I would settle for a van which he cannot easily fiddle with the engine. I just remember my father taking out the radiator for the A/C over and over until the Freon leaked. He took it to the technician at the cost of my brother. The condenser was replaced but with a second-hand one so soon after and not a week had passed the A/C got faulty again so he removed it from the car altogether.

I am peeved when he tells us to move the windows down and then he turns the A/C off and telling us that it saves gas to turn it off, that it is so hot and the A/C cannot make the inside cool enough, and so and so.

I wish that I can buy a better car soon but I have to really prioritize my medicines so I have to endure riding that car of ours for now even though it really causes me some inconvenience particularly when it rains and that is another story.
