What Is A High-flux Dialyzer And How Important Is It For My Well-being

I got back home with still a bit of water left in my system, probably due to the fact that my dialyzer is needing to get replaced so I just told my nurse to replace it next time.

I am paying extra money everytime I would replace my dialyzer which is just once per month. In the west they are using such each session but here in my country not even the rich could just throw out that money every time they would get dialyzed because dialyzers costs about in the equivalent of $49 dollars considering that dialysis sessions needs to be done two to three times per week.

Normally I will not have to pay everytime I needed to replace my dialyzer but I use a special kind of dialyzer which is called a high-flux dialyzer that has bigger holes and bigger molecule substances from the blood passes through like uric acid and it really cleans the blood better so even though I have to pay extra I just have to use that kind of dialyzer.

The effect was satisfactory because I no longer get that ammonia breath smell which I had suffered to have for so many years. It is just recently after I learned about its benefits I tried to switch on it. I can tell of course that it worked because of that example plus I no longer get so much thirsty because salt has been effectively washed from my system unlike before where most of it and the other toxins gets left behind my body.

Well it is just too little too late plus none of my former dialysis centers are offering high-flux dialyzers and even if the former centers that I had been are offering it I can also never afford it because I have no funds to spend at that time.

Now I needed its efficient cleaning feature because I needed to get rid of phosphorus from my system and let it get to stay low so that I will not exacerbate my hyperparathyroid condition which is the cause of my bone and joint problems.

That is why it is a problem to get a more frequent sessions because it will just mean more frequency in replacing such expensive and most important part of my dialysis sessions.

I just hope that soon I am more free with having to fund or finance my health needs so that at least I can have a more comfortable life as a dialysis-leontiasis patient whose goal is to have a pain-free life and able to enjoy my body's natural functions as a seemingly negligible function of enjoying foods.
