Tonight a couple of friends and I took a little excursion out to a park a little ways outside of the town we live in. As we conversed, laughed, and enjoyed each other's company, I couldn't help my eyes from wandering up to the sky. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the moon was illuminating the landscape. There's just something about looking up into the night sky and seeing those shining stars that are lightyears away. Nothing else in the world gives me the boyish wonder that comes from gazing up into the picture perfect night sky. For some odd reason, the things that are the furthest objects away from us, can calm my mind and feel like I have no problems. Whatever that reason is, I care not to know because I hope to keep these same feelings for an eternity. I always know that wherever I am, I can look up into the night sky and know that I'm at home. A feeling that is undoubtedly unmatched.
I felt like doing a little bit of creative/thought provoking writing because that's something that I am interested in getting a little more into and part of the reason why I am interested in steem.
