A visit to hivefest is very high on my todo list, and I look forward to seeing when one gets scheduled at the bottom of the planet and even better here in Adelaide.

I just checked potential itineraries Adelaide->Split. Ugh. Doable in 24h, but crazy expensive.
I am patient and not going away anytime soon. Happy to see if the next hivefest is any closer to me. Not sure if you know we have a fantastic community here with monthly meetups run by splinterlands and hive champion @mattclarke, its always a fun an lively discussion about all thing crypto and web3 gaming. Personally I run a witness node on my own hardware and host it here in Adelaide, a vote from you would be very much appreciated.

Reducing costs is nice, sure, but the benefits of deals like this extend beyond mere discounts. They also serve as an effective way to spread the word about Hive. :-)

Well, I don't like that idea because that seems like an extra middle man, whereas we were supposed to get rid of those. And unfortunately that comes with a cost, just looking at two examples that I just compared it's 16% more expensive in one case and even 37% in the other.

I'm having a real tough time finding sensible ways to get to Split. After thinking 27 hours traveling to Mexico was extreme, I can't find travel options now that are less than 12 hours for what should be a 3 hour flight!
Hey @gtg wow... SkyTeam's site is finding a flight option via Rome which (at least to get there) isn't insane. The way home is a bit annoying at 12 hours but thanks, this might just be what I need.
